Adoption Information

Adopting a dog is an exciting fun time!  But it is also a life-changing decision that should not be taken lightly.  Your dog will be with you for many years - through both the cute puppy stage, as well as the senior years where veterinarian costs may be involved.  We are dedicated to placing our dogs with families who are well informed, well prepared and committed to their dog his whole life.

We have been breeding Labradoodles since 2003 and are dedicated registered breeders.  Our pups live all over Canada - from BC  to Nova Scotia!  We are known for our beautiful, well-socialized, sweet-natured Labradoodles as well as our professional service and outstanding client care.  Our dogs (both young and old) are precious to us and we take every effort to ensure that they are adopted into loving forever homes!

STEPS TO ADOPTION

1. Check out the current litters.

2.  Complete and submit our Adoption Questionnaire.

3.  You will receive confirmation that your questionnaire has been received and under review.

4.  You will receive notification from us if you have been approved for adoption.

5.  Once approved, submit your $200.00 deposit (see our Fees & Payments page for info).

6.  Once your deposit is received for us, you're offically on the reserve list for a puppy and you will be sent a link to our client-exclusive Puppy Resource Manual to help you prepare for your furry friend's arrival. You will also receive weekly Puppy Updates and photos from birth to 8 weeks.
7.  Official choosing of individual pups will happen when puppies are 5 weeks old and have been evaluated for both coat and temperament. At that point, you will be asked to submit $300.00 as a 1st payment on your Outstanding Balance.
8.  The remaining amount of your Outstanding Balance will be expected when puppy is in your arms (at 8 weeks).

Note:  Wild Rose Kennels reserves the right of first pick of all of our litters.

Our puppies come with a written NON-BREEDING 1-Year Health Contract that covers hereditary / congenital defects such as severe hip dysplasia, eye disease (PRA - Progressive Retinal Atrophy), heart defects, auto-immune disorders, or any other life threatening genetic defects. Our Contract may be viewed prior to adoption.
